Hi, I’m Dr. Mandie!

I’m passionate about helping academics and writers showcase their research and stories in the best possible light. With my experience as a researcher, writer, and editor, I specialize in editing dissertations, theses, journal articles, and research proposals, ensuring every document is not only error-free but also clear, polished, and impactful.

I hold a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and currently work as a researcher and academic editor. Over the years, I’ve helped high school, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students strengthen their academic writing skills and share their ideas with confidence. I believe everyone has something important to say through research, but translating passion into academic language can be challenging. My goal is to make the editing process simple, approachable, and supportive, transforming your project into a ready-to-publish manuscript that highlights your accomplishments and contributes meaningfully to your field.

Originally from North Carolina, USA, I moved to Plymouth, England, in 2023. When I’m not editing or researching, you’ll likely find me exploring the beautiful Moors, experimenting with new recipes, or creating artwork.
